OUR STORY
Black Rose Organics (BRO) was established in 2017 by Maged Barbara and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada. We are comprised of a team of seasoned Cannabis experts, who have extensive experience in all verticals of the industry. Our team has many years of hands-on experience and we have learned that the little things you do to ensure plants are properly nurtured and cared for produce BIG results.
We are also involved in various International projects. To date, we are the only company that has been awarded a license to grow and process hemp by the Egyptian Government.
OUR PROCESS
NATURAL GROW
We start by hand-selecting the highest quality seeds and cultivar then producing mother plants of those strains. We then pay careful attention to cloning those plants to ensure young healthy clones are produced without stressing the mother plants. We’re all about keeping things natural which includes the best sourced coco-fiber growing mediums, which are washed 6 times for sanitation, and 100% natural nutrients. We use a biological-based bug control system so no pesticides are required.
SAVING ENERGY
Every element of cultivation production is tracked and monitored on our proprietary in-house software system. Mothers, clones, growing mediums, nutrients, water, and environmental conditions like optimal air flow, light, humidity, and temperature are all carefully administered and tracked to determine which products and practices are most effective for optimal plant growth. We know that every strain and cultivar has unique environmental needs; historical data is used to create tailored micro-climates best-suited for specific genetics.
LAB TESTING
All our products are laboratory tested in our facility and by third-party laboratories to ensure clients have access to a safe and consistent product in accordance with the Cannabis Act and its regulations and standards. Our customers can taste the quality, experience, and love that Black Rose puts into our products.
CLONING

Our Scarborough facility is a special place because everything begins there. Our mother room, tissue culture, and cloning programs play a critical role in ensuring we start with healthy disease-free cultivars.
This is the heart of our genetics program so we pay close attention to every detail in this process. We are registered with Blue Cross Canada and we can utilize our existing database of strains or create new ones that would contain the desired effect as well as CBD, THC, and terpene levels that our customers and the market as a whole desire.
